Hi!
I'm Joachim Wiewiura, and I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for AI Ethics, Law, and Policy at Aalborg University in Denmark (based in Copenhagen).
I work on the political philosophy of artificial intelligence, democracy, and the public sphere.
Co-lead of DEMOCRACY & AI, an international online talk series on how AI is reshaping democratic life, run in collaboration with the Center for Philosophy of AI at the University of Copenhagen.
My current work examines how democracy and AI get along, as well as the political regulation of AI-related rights.
I have a side interest in education and am currently writing a book on the politics of childhood for MIT Press.
I hold a PhD in political philosophy from the University of Copenhagen, during which I was a visiting researcher at Oxford University and the MIT Media Lab.
